CompScope
CompScope is the first multi-state benchmarking study published under the Workers Compensation Research Institute. Using new methods to enhance comparability across states, CompScope compares performance measures in California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Texas. As the program expands, it will add more states. It is the hope of the Institute, its members, and it supporters that these reports will be used by policymakers and other system participants to improve workers compensation systems. The Workers Compensation Research Institute is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit research organization providing objective information about public policy issues involving workers' compensation systems. The Institute does not take positions on the issues it researches; rather it provides information obtained through studies and data collection efforts that conform to recognized scientific methods, with objectivity further ensured through rigorous peer review procedures.
